This cohort’s theme is “Systems leadership for new forms of health, care and wellbeing.” Cohort 6 will have its first residential meeting at Schloss Leopoldskron in May 2024.

In addition to getting to know one another at this meeting, Fellows will focus on systems leadership and learning about the health systems across each country. During four residential meetings over two years, they will continue to explore personal leadership goals as a cohort and learn from one another on how to shape new forms of health, care, and wellbeing.

Fellows will also be introduced to an applied leadership project, the Sciana Challenge, and Cohort 5 Fellows. They will work alongside Cohort 6 programme co-leads Sir David Behan and Mary Helen Pombo.

Sir David said, “As we look to the middle of the 21st century, the challenges and opportunities faced by health and care systems leaders are significant. This programme will enable the Fellows to work collaboratively to seize the opportunities and discover solutions to the challenges whilst at the same time developing their leadership skills.”

Mary Helen said, “I’m thrilled to welcome this cohort of health leaders to the Sciana Network! They bring commitment, experience, and, most importantly, vision for advancing new forms of health, care, and wellbeing. I’m confident that they will bring much value and insight to the growing Sciana Network, and I look forward to supporting these leaders to shape a healthier future.”
